Dr Alistair Crawford MBBS, DGM, MRCGP, FPA Cert
Dr Crawford qualified at London Hospital Medical College in 1987 and joined the practice as a Partner in 1992. His particular interests are the care of the elderly, child protection and he is the medical officer for Ty Gobaith, the children's hospice for North Wales situated locally. He is the lead partner of the Practice for care of our diabetic patients and is also the medical officer for the local RNLI.

Dr Jane Smith MB, ChB, MRCGP, DFFP
Dr Smith qualified at Liverpool Medical School in 1986 and joined the practice as a Partner in April 2001 having been a half time partner in Llanrwst Surgery for six years. She has an interest in family planning issues and offers comprehensive advice on all aspects of contraception, including the fitting of intra-uterine contraceptive devices. She also has a special interest in dermatology.

Dr Elisabeth Bowen MBBCh, MRCGP
Dr Bowen qualified at the University of Wales College of Medicine, Cardiff in 1992 and joined the practice as a Partner in May 2011. She spent several years working all over England and Wales before coming to North Wales to train in General Practice, finishing in 1999. She was a part time partner at a practice in Bangor for five years before working as a locum and in the GP Out of Hours Service for six years

Dr Kate Edwards MBBS, DFFP
Dr Edwards qualified at Kings College School of Medicine and Dentistry, London in 1993 and joined the practice as a Partner in January 2012. She is interested in women’s health and is able to fit intra-uterine contraceptive devices and implants. She also carries out minor surgery including removal of small lumps and bumps, skin lesions, toe nails and aspiration and injection of some joints.

The Doctors at Bodreinallt Surgery are committed to the training and support of health care professionals, for example, student doctors from the Liverpool School of Medicine, nurses, midwives etc., and persons intending to become health care professionals. A patient's permission will always be sought prior to consultation if a trainee is attached to a member of our clinical team, and the Practice is perfectly happy to respect their wishes.
