Clinics

The following clinics are run by our Practice Nurses:

  • Diabetic
  • CHD
  • Asthma and respiratory assessment
  • Chronic Obstructive Airways Disease
  • Hypertension

Patients who are known to suffer from any of these conditions will be invited to attend the clinics for monitoring and support.

  • Cervical Smears and 'Well-Woman'

We hope to regularly screen all our ladies and you will, from time to time, receive an invitation to attend for a smear. This a quick PAINLESS procedure and we encourage you to take advantage of it.

  • Childhood Immunisations

These clinics give you the opporturnity to discuss your child's immunisation requirements and any concerns you may have about them with our very well-informed nurses.

  • Travel Vaccinations

You will be required to make an initial appointment to discuss your travel plan and to ascertain your vaccination requirements. A schedule will then be made an the appropriate appointments made.

Bodreinallt is a registered YELLOW FEVER CENTRE. A charge of £50.00 will be made for this service.

  • Venesection (Blood Samples)

For those patients who cannot get to Llandudno Hospital for outpatient blood samples, we run pre-bookable clinics in Conwy and Llandudno Junction each morning.

For the convenience of Bodreinallt patients who require regular anticoagulation therapy, we are now offering a one-stop INR clinic each week. During one ten minute appointment, a sample of blood will be taken, analysed and the warfarin dose will be calculated.

  • Antenatal Care

Antenatal clinics are held every Friday morning by our local community midwife, Mrs Sharon Buckley. Appointments with Sharon can be made at reception.

  • Health Visitor

The Health Visitor is part of our Primary Health Care Team and works closely with other members of the Practice. Clinics are held at the surgery each Friday morning and appointments can be made at reception.
